Dance this Saturday

The Raven Park dances didn't initially set out to be a "thing". The first one was put on as simply a gathering of people who live on Raven Park. The next one was announced a little wider and we enjoyed the company of some more fun and cool people. And then another one was arranged. And...

One thing that became clear early on was that pretty much everyone who was coming along had an interest in science fiction and fantasy. So it's no surprise that when, one dance, we were all having a discussion about possible future themes, a lot of science fiction and fantasy themes cropped up (yes, there is a list; yes, we're working our way through it).

This Saturday's dance is one of those widely suggested themes:

Blade Runner

So come and join us in a fictional future where mega-corporations rule the world, where machines have taken over many jobs, where there's constant surveillance and someone's marketing a product that's called "Nexus" followed by a number.

Wait... fictional? Erm...
