Raven Park David Lynch dance

Yesterday afternoon we gathered together in the Black Lodge/Red Room, high above Raven Park, and had fun with themes based on the works of David Lynch (well, okay, mostly we let Miss Anna run wild with her Twin Peaks obsession). You can find an album of photos from the event over on Google Photos; here are some highlights:

Many thanks to everyone who came along and made the event fun, to Miss Eve for great selectionof music, and to Miss Anna for... well, for going nuts with a deep obsession of hers. See you all in a couple of weeks!

Raven Park dance this Saturday

This Saturday it's time for another Raven Park dance and, this time around, we're going to do something we do now and again: indulge someone's obsession, celebrate someone's nerdy love for a thing, embrace someone's all-consuming interest in a book or show or film or.... whatever.

This time around it's Anna's turn. As someone who's a huge fan of Twin Peaks she is, unsurprisingly, massively excited at getting a new series to watch (author mumbles something darkly about how it must be terrible to have to wait for SERIES 3 OF YOUR FAVOURITE TV SHOW). Because of this our theme this weekend is:

Come join us while dressed in a way that's inspired by something created by Lynch, and enjoy the musical selection put together by Miss Eve, while listening to Miss Anna go on and on and on and on about logs and red curtains and coffee and how the floor has changed colour...

Here's all the details:

Date: Saturday May 27th
Time: 3pm to 5pm SLT
Where: Raven Park

Raven Park kink & BDSM dance

Yesterday afternoon we gathered in a fetish club, high above Raven Park, and got our kink on. We had kinky BDSM outfits, a fantastic collection of music by Miss Eve, and brilliant company and natter. You can see all the photos from the dance over on Google Photos. Here's a few highlights:

Many thanks to everyone who came along and made it such fun, and especially to Miss Eve for a wonderful collection of kinky tunes. See you all in a couple of weeks for the next dance!

Raven Park dance this Saturday

This Saturday it's time for another Raven Park dance and, this time, we thought we should go with a solid Raven Park theme that we've not fully done for a couple of years: Kink and BDSM!

Now, of course, we all seem to manage to get a little bit of kink into most of the themes -- such is the nature of Raven Park dances -- but we thought it was high time we just went full on kink. So, like last time, come join us to flaunt your kinks and BDSM desires while enjoying fun company and the best music Miss Eve has to offer.

Here's the details:

Date: Saturday May 13th
Time: 3pm to 5pm SLT
Where: Raven Park

Z&A Submission HUD v1.8

I've just released v1.8 of the Z&A Submission HUD.

This release contains a small addition to the #RLV module, that allows for the locking and unlocking of outfit folders. I've also made some small tweaks to the leashing code to handle a couple of obscure situations where the leash would lose a leash holder attached to a dominant (resulting in the particle chain going to an intimate area instead).

Existing users of the retail version are getting a new copy sent to them, or you can grab a fresh copy any time by coming into the shop, touching the board and requesting a redelivery.

Z&A Holding Cage

New today in the main store, and on the second life marketplace, is a cell that continues a recent trend in Z&A cells where it's designed to work seamlessly with other copies of itself, to make a nice block of cells. This one is designed with an outdoor holding area in mind. It's called the Holding Cage.

The cell itself is made of metal and chicken wire and provides an owner-only menu that gives steel, rusty or copper effect textures for the frame and increasing levels of rust for the chicken wire. As mentioned above, it is also designed so you can easily put out copies on the build grid and they nicely slot into place.

To aid with this, and to ensure there's no texture flash, there's also a setup menu where you can hide the left or right sides of the cell (the physics still works, nobody can escape, it's just a visual aid to make things work just right).

The new cell can be found on the Second Life marketplace (click either of the vendor images above to be taken to the relevant listing), and it can also be found for viewing and testing in the main store.

PS: Thanks once again to Anna for helping create the sample build setup above. In it she's wearing one of her convict dresses, and I'm wearing a planned new release of hers.
