Dance this Saturday

Deep inside Antony's inventory is a notecard. A special notecard. A notecard that gets updated a couple of times a month. Currently the notecard is called:

Raven Park dance theme ideas (Updated 2014-05-10)

In this notecard lies the collected wisdom of those who come and make the Raven Park dances what they are. Thanks to this collected wisdom Vila and Antony know what to plan for, what builds might be needed, and of course what outfits to keep an eye out for. It almost sounds organised.

But, during the last dance, something different happened. A theme was decided by everyone else and, even more astonishing, it was a theme that wasn't on the list! We had a mutiny on our hands! The guests were taking over the region! Control had been lost!

So we did the only thing we could do: say "about bloody time!" and be overjoyed that people felt it was as much their dance as anyone's.

And the theme that was decided for this weekend?

No matter if con artists, cowboys or space princesses are your thing there's bound to be an outfit or two for you. So come join us this Saturday and expect Mel Brooks related puns, jokes, banter, chat and, of course music (we have a funny feeling that Eve will be having lots of fun with this set).

Here's the details:

Date: Saturday May 31st
Time: 4pm to 6pm SLT
Where: Raven Park
Music by: Eve Terr

We promise you won't be surrounded by assholes.

Four new products

Today we're releasing four new products that "reboot" and replace a couple of older builds. The first we're calling the Z&A Relief Cushion:

The cushion contains a couple of "waiting" kneels as well as six different masturbation animations. As with all of our hold/display devices the key holder is the one who gets to decide which pose is in use so it's perfect for tease and humiliation role play.

It also comes with an extensive choice of textures for the cushion (which can only be set by the owner or their chosen admins) so it should be easy to have it fit your home or dungeon. And, of course, like all of our products, the object has modify permission so you can easily texture it yourself should you need to.

Today we're also releasing the Z&A Bend Back Stand in versions for the light wood, dark wood and chestnut ranges:

Perfect for putting your victim's most vulnerable parts on display.

As always, these new products can be found in the new product area of our main store, as well as on the Second Life marketplace (just click on any of the images above to be taken to the MP pages). Copy versions can also be found in the main store.

Three new products

It's been a while since we've released a new RLV vehicle (the last time being the release of the rickshaw after the end of The Femdom Hunt IV) and we've being wanting to do another. When we saw the kit that forms the base of this new release we just knew it had to happen.

The latest addition is another vehicle designed for securely transporting subs and slaves (so similar in idea to the likes of the quad bike, the cage trolley, the forklift, the 6x6 and the van), this time with a view to travel. We call it the Z&A Caged Luggage:

With this vehicle the dominant is the driver (they should sit on the vehicle by sitting anywhere but in the cage) and the sub/slave gets to be the passenger, securely locked in the cage. As usual the vehicle is designed to be easy to drive. Being a luggage trolley it of course has a board at the back for logos and the like. Out of the box it sports a Z&A and Raven Park logo. But don't worry, you're not stuck with that. We've included a texture that serves as a template for changing the logos. It's easy to create your own, upload it in world and add it to the trolley.

For those of you who might want to make this generally available on your plot or region we've also got a public rezzer version:

This new vehicle is available from our main store and also on the Second Life marketplace. You can also give this vehicle a try out on our vehicle test platform -- just look for the TP pad in the main store underneath the vehicle vendor boards.

Today we're also releasing two more products in the new chestnut furniture range:

As usual these new products are available for viewing and testing in the new products area in in the reception of our main store. There you'll also find copy-permission versions too. Of course, you'll also find them on the Second Life marketplace.

2000AD dance

Yesterday afternoon was the Raven Park 2000AD-themed dance. It was a couple of hours filled with great music (even the odd fan-made track added to the theme), lots of nattering (oddly as much about Battlestar Galactica and Firefly1 as anything else) and some great costumes. You can find an album of photos from the dance over on imgur. Here's a few highlights:

Many thanks to Miss Eve for a great set, and thank you to everyone who came along and took part. See you all in a couple of weeks!

1 Most of it involving educating Sue on the wonders of the episode Shindig.

Five new products

A little over a year ago we introduced the new range of RLV furniture and devices. In that time we've mostly concentrated on the light and dark ranges of dungeon furniture. While some of it paralleled and rebooted some of our older designs almost none of it replaced it. Our very original designs, when Z&A first opened, were based around a shiny rosewood look -- the idea being that they would be devices that wouldn't look out of place in a living room as well as a dungeon and, for a while now, we've being trying to decide what direction we'd like to go in so as to keep a range in that style.

Today we're launching the first devices in that new range. The style is based around a polished chestnut and iron look, the idea again being that any product in this range would work well in the "house" as well as in the "dungeon". In most cases there will be a parallel with an existing product in the light and dark ranges but, in all cases, it will either be a ground-up rebuild to better match the choice of textures or a ground-up remaking of the mesh for the same reason. There will also be a little hint of materials use too.

The first five products in this new range are:

These releases will replace similar products in our original rosewood and black and chrome ranges, those originals being retired from the marketplace and the main store.

These new products are available for testing and purchase in the main store and are also available for purchase on the Second Life marketplace.

Dance this Saturday

Saturday is Raven Park dance time again and, this time around, we're going geeky and sci-fi again. The theme this time is a particular comic book, one that's been with us since the 1970s, one that's very British, that has given the world some very recognisable characters, one whose very name is hilarious given that it's a future now behind us. This week we're celebrating the very existence of...

No matter if your thing is fascist cops, barbarian warriors, all kinds of robots, mutants, pilots of the future, athletes, resistance fighters, more mutants, psychic fascist cops, slightly rubbish superhereos or one of any number of other characters there's likely something here for you.

So come join us this Saturday to have some comic-based fun and enjoy a 2000AD-inspired musical set by our DJ Eve Terr. Here's the details:

Date: Saturday May 17th
Time: 4pm to 6pm SLT
Where: Raven Park
Music by: Eve Terr

Until then, as Tharg the Mighty would say... Splundig Vur Thrigg!

Two new cells

Given Antony's current situation, which won't end until at least this weekend, he's understandably had all things pony-related on his mind. While there's some non-pony work going on in the background at Z&A (some to do with builds for Raven Park, some to do with a hunt we're sponsoring and taking part in next month) this week's releases very much have RLV-based pony play in mind.

Today we're releasing two cells that we're calling "Paddock Cells". Designed to look like a simple fenced-off area, perfect for holding ponies and other pets, they're fully-working Z&A cells. We've done two sizes. There's a smaller one with a footprint of around 4m x 4m:

and a bigger one with a footprint of around 8m x 8m:

You can find both of these new releases in the garden next to the landing point of the main store. They are, of course, also available from our Second Life marketplace.

Pony Play dance

Yesterday afternoon we had the Z&A Pony Play dance, and it was a ton of fun. Ponies everywhere. Ponies outnumbering trainers by.... big numbers. More than ponies can count anyway. Why knew that the sorts of people that hang out at Raven Park dances are into near-nakedness, head-to-toe latex, head-to-toe latex near-nakedness and lots of strapping and bondage shoes and mittens and....

We have a full album of photos we took, and here's a few highlights:

As always we'd like to thank Eve for a fabulous set and we'd really like to thank everyone who came along. You all looked brilliant! It's tempting to have a Raven Park pony event at some point....

Meanwhile, we'll be back in a couple of weeks for another dance. We've given up predicting what the theme will be now. ;)
