Now that it's rather close to Christmas it's time to make the Z&A RLV Christmas gifts available in the main store. If you don't already have an RLV gift box, candy cane display, stocking, Christmas tree or snowman, this is your chance to pick one up and add a dusting of RLV to your festive decorations.
You'll find the vendor boards for them in front of the counter:
Just head over to the main store and touch each vendor for your copy of the gifts.
PS: Talking of all things Christmas, don't forget that you still have a chance of winning a Z&A product or two by entering the photo contest over at The Velvet Thorn.

Raven Park panto
Yesterday we gathered in Miss Anna's panto-themed build, above Raven Park, and enjoyed Miss Eve's festive-themed musical selection. There was fun and puns and nattering (and vague mention of how Anna and Antony had got engaged in RL).
You can find an album of photos over on imgur. Here's some highlights:
Many thanks to everyone who came along and made it such fun, to Miss Anna for the great build, and especially to Miss Eve for a great selection of seasonal songs.
Raven Park dances are now going to take their usual little winter holiday and will be back in January. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!

Velvet Thorn photo competition
The Velvet Thorn have just launched a photo competition, aimed at those who fancy their abilities with an SL camera and who want to explore all that VT has to offer. You can find the entry board up near the chat circle on the region and, from it, you can get instructions and rules for entry.
The reason why I mention it here is that Z&A have provided a few prizes. So, if you enjoy a bit of SL photography, like exploring Femdom regions and want a chance to win a Z&A product, you know what to do.
And if you don't know what to do, here's the details and the rules for the competition:
Hey there!
So glad you're interested in entering our Photo Competition! We have lots of fun prizes on offer for the photos that impress us, from some fantastic creators, including Dictatorshop, Evelock, and Z&A Productions.
To win a prize, you simply enter a photo *that you uploaded* into the big picture frame that gave you this notecard. The photos that impress us get a prize. Simple :)
The contest runs from 10th December 2016 until 7th January 2017. While the contest is open, all the entries will be in a slideshow, shown on the very picture frame you got this notecard from.
RULES:
1) The photo must be taken on the Velvet Thorn sim and contain at least one avatar.
Photos may be enhanced in graphic manipulation software such as Photoshop,
for example to add a caption, but must still be recognisably taken on the Velvet Thorn sim.
2) The photo must have a seasonal, holidays theme.
Photos do not have to be square (1:1 ratio) but will definitely look better when displayed if they are.
3) The photo must be full permissions for the next owner.
Right click on the image in your inventory and choose properties to check and make sure these permissions are set correctly.
4) By entering, you give Velvet Thorn the right to publish your photo on its blog, or on the sim, with appropriate credit.
5) The photo must be named "VT Photo Comp Entry by <your legacy avatar name>". Any entry not named correctly will be removed from the contest.
6) The photo must not break any of Linden Lab's terms and conditions. Nudity is fine, but keep it tasteful; and stay away from subjects that might cause offense. This is about having fun.
7) Each entry will be judged by a team of Velvet Thorn staff, and those that impress us will be given a prize from the collection we have amassed from our wonderful sponsors.
8) Prizes will be given to the avatar who uploaded the photo, not to anyone else.
9) Prizes may be given at any time, but will be received by the winners no later than 10th January 2017. The number of prizes awarded is wholly dependent on the generosity of our sponsors, and they have been generous indeed.
HOW TO ENTER:
1) Check that your photo is correctly named. "VT Photo Comp Entry by <your legacy avatar name>".
2) Check that your photo is full permissions for the next owner. Right click on the image in your inventory and choose "Properties" to check and change them.
3) Locate your photo in your inventory.
4) Hold down "Ctrl" and drag your photo from your inventory onto the picture frame. The outline turning red lets you know that you got it in the right place. Let go of the mouse, and then let go of "Ctrl". You are all done, and should get a message in local to say that.
Any queries or questions about the contest should be directed to Eve Terr, or in her absence, StarSong Bright.

Raven Park dance this Saturday
This Saturday it's time for another Raven Park dance and, because the dances will soon be taking their annual mid-winter break, we're obviously making it a Christmas-based dance. In previous years we've done a Gothic Christmas and a slutty Christmas so we felt it was time to really camp it up, get out the tights, do a bit of thigh-slapping and likely a good dose of cross-dressing and.... hang on, that's a normal Raven Park dance isn't it?
Oh well, let's do it anyway!
Yes, this time around, come join us for the Raven Park panto. Dress as your favourite pantomime character (or at least the one you've been told you're dressing as if you're the sort of person who likes to be bossed around) and come enjoy a couple of hours of Miss Eve's festive choices.

Scottish dance
Yesterday we gathered in a hall above Raven Park to celebrate all things Scottish; partly as a "house warming" party for Antony given that he's now a Scottish resident and partly because we're close to St Andrew's Day.
You can find an album of photos from the dance over on imgur. Here's some highlights:
Thank you to Miss Eve for all the great tunes, and to everyone who came along and made it such fun. See you all in a couple of weeks time!

Raven Park dance this Saturday
This Saturday it's time for another Raven Park dance and, this time, we're going to get all Scottish.
Late November, especially this year, is a deeply important point in the Scottish calendar. An event is celebrated the world over, as well as in the country that makes up the northern part of mainland UK. There will be partying. There will be fireworks. There will be dancing and drinking and huge celebrations. In all respects, a day of national rejoicing and one that all nations can join in on.
We're speaking, of course, about the fact that the lure of a life with Anna has meant that the Antony Fairport has just become a resident of Scotland!
PS: Apparently it's also St Andrew's Day on the 30th.
As for the dance itself... here's all the details:

Z&A Caged Cage
While many Z&A cells are designed to have the look and feel of something very secure (not all, of course -- there's plenty designed to look the opposite of secure while still being secure), these tend not to leave the inmate very exposed. Thick concrete and heavy metal doors generally give your victim somewhere to be invisible, hidden from the world.
Today's release is designed to be extra secure while also very exposing. It's a cage within a cage which we're calling the "Caged Cage".
The outer cage works like a normal Z&A cell -- the door mechanism working as you'd expect. The inner cage has its own door menu so you can open and close the inner cage without needing to open the outer. Just the perfect thing if you want to ensure one inmate is nice and secure before loading up another.
The cell also comes with a stark-looking lamp, which can be used to highlight the inmate when it's dark around them. The menu for the lamp lets you keep the light on all the time, off all the time or only on when it's dark on the region.
The light itself is designed to make the best use of shadows (should you have them turned on).
The cell comes in both transfer and copy versions and can be found (and tested) in the main store, as well as on the Second Life Marketplace.

Many thanks to Anna for helping set this scene up. |

No theme dance
Yesterday afternoon we gathered in the Raven Park Mansion for an easy couple of hours of listening to Miss Eve's excellent choice of tunes. Due to RL's demands on Miss Anna and Antony on the day (even resulting in them being a little late to the dance), there was no theme or special build; but fun was still had by all.
You can find an album of photos over on imgur. Here's some highlights:
Thank you to everyone who came along and joined in, and to Miss Eve for the great tunes and also taking care of getting the dance started. See you all in a couple of weeks, hopefully on time and with a theme! ;)
