Hammer Films dance

Yesterday afternoon's Raven Park dance was themed around the look and feel of the Hammer horror films. We all gathered in a temporary Raven Park crypt and had a horrifically fun time. You can find an album of photos over on imgur; here's a few highlights:

Indulgence BDSM & Kink Fair

While fairs are very much all the rage on the grid these days they're something that Z&A has never really been involved in (unless you count the VT Femdom Furniture Fair back in 2011). That will change come June the 1st thanks to this:

Aimed very squarely at Second Life's adult communities, in all the forms and flavours, and with a special emphasis on BDSM and kink in general, there was no way the invitation to take part could be passed up.

For the whole of June there will be a Z&A shop at the fair which, as well as having a good selection of Z&A products, will also contain a new mini-range that will be exclusive to their fair for the duration of the fair. Better still, one item in that range will be 1/2 price for the whole of the fair (including the copy-permission version).

So be sure to mark your calendar, pencil in some time during June to visit the fair and, of course, visit the Z&A shop.

More details will be released closer to the time.

Two new products

Although it's over 2 years now since the project to retire the original Z&A products was launched, one or two such products still remain. Now that the business of launching the new cell system is complete some work is being done to retire the last few original builds. Expect news about a special group of releases at the start of next month (more news on this later this month).

Meanwhile, as part of this process, there are two new products in the main store and on the Second Life marketplace. The first is a reboot of the popular chandler. This new product is a chandler that has candles, has 3 different poses for your victim and also has a system for fitting it to ceilings of different heights while keeping the victim at your chosen height off the ground.

As with other Z&A products that involve lighting this one has a setup menu for the owner that lets you select if the lights (in this case the candles) should be always on, always off or set to automatic (only on when the sun on the region is below the horizon).

The next new product is a simple chestnut stool that seats both the Domme and a helpful sub.

You can find both of these products on the Second Life marketplace (just click on the images above to be taken to their listings) as well as in the new product section of the main store. If you'd prefer copy-permission versions of either of the above you'll find them available in the main store.

Dance this Saturday

This Saturday it's time for another Raven Park dance and, this week, for the theme, we're going with a very old British institution. One that dates back to the 1930s but one that's especially loved by anyone growing up in the 60s and the 70s. It's time to explore and have some fun with...

No matter if your thing is Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy or any one of a number of horror (even even not-quite-horror) themes there should be something for you. Come join us in a themed costume (or not, we're fine with that too) and enjoy what's bound to be some suitably-themed music.

Z&A Beach Towels

While it is, without a doubt, rather hemispherist, there's no question that we're heading into the months of the calendar that are thought of as summer on the grid. With this in mind, and firmly believing that RLV has its place on the beach too (see the Z&A Palm Tree and Z&A Bamboo Hut for example), now seemed like a very good time to reboot one of the few remaining original Z&A products.

So, available now in the main store and on the Second Life Marketplace, is the Z&A Beach Towels:

This set comprises of a beach towel for the Domme, a RLV staked out beach towel for a sub and also a RLV-enabled beach umbrella to keep a second sub safe.

The owner menu for each of the items contains options that provide a range of fabric and wood colours and styles, giving plenty of scope for mix and match.

In total there are six different fabric colour options and six different wood textures to choose from.

If you'd like to have a look at them and give them a try out you'll find the beach towels in the new product section of the main store and, of course, they're also available from the Second Life Marketplace. If you'd prefer a copy-permission version you'll also find them available in the main store.

Marvel Universe dance

Yesterday afternoon's Raven Park dance went all superhero and visited the Marvel Universe (with the odd crossover to other universes here and there). As usual, photos were taken and they can all be found in an album over on imgur. Here's a few highlights:
