Three new products in the main store

We're delighted to announce the release of three new products to our main store.

First up, joining the Shopping Bags, Pirate Booty and Roadie in the list of "carrying restraints" is the Z&A Fishing Trip:

We think it's perfect for all the Dommes and Doms out there who enjoy SL's fishing games. Perfect for making a big entrance with your subs and slaves.

We've also added two builds based on a recent hunt gift. This is the Z&A Lamp Post and it comes in two versions. Much like the original build we have a version with a linked bench for the Mistress:

and we've also created a version without. This one just has positions for the victim:

Both builds have a fully working light which you can control. The light can be set to automatic so that it comes on when the Sun sets and turns off again when it rises. You can also switch it on all the time, or off all the time. This means that you get working lighting for your plot or region and you get RLV-enabled bondage equipment too.

You'll find a handful of copies placed around Raven Park if you want to try them in context.

As always, you'll find these new products in our main store and also on the Second Life Marketplace.

Five new cells

Z&A are delighted to announce the release of five new cells to the main store and the marketplace.

This range of cells has a very strong connecting theme, one that was inspired by our build of the free gift for the recent Velvet Thorn science fiction themed party. Each of these new cells is heavily science fiction themed, playing with ideas revolving around force fields and invisible barriers.

First we have three cells that use an invisible force field to hold the victim in place:

In each case, when you close the "door" of the cell, there's no visible means of keeping the victim in the cell:

However, should the victim try and wander out of the cell, the force field becomes apparent (with both visual and sound effects):

As well as three cells with invisible force fields, we also have two new cells that have very visible force fields:

Although these force fields are always visible, they still react with visual and sound effects if the victim attempts to pass through them. Also, because we know that red isn't going to fit the decor of everyone's futuristic dungeon or starship brig, the owner's setup menu for these two cells lets you select from a list of colours.

On top of the above selection of colours these two cells also have an "Avatar Mode" for colour selection. When in this mode the field will change colour based on the last avatar to be detected. Any given avatar will always have the same colour, but most avatars will have different colours. There will be an overlap, some will appear similar, but it does mean that the colour will generally change based on who your latest victim is.

As always these cells are all now available from the cell room in our main store and also from our Second Life marketplace store.

Fetish Love Hunt now under way

Today sees the start of the Fetish Love Hunt and Z&A Productions are taking part.

See over on their blog for details of the hunt and the hint list.

We've taken the "fetish" part of the hunt theme and run with it, picking a very particular fetish. Enjoy.

VT Science Fiction Dance (and a free gift)

We're delighted to announce that, this Wednesday, we're sponsoring the mid-week dance over at The Velvet Thorn.

Available at the dance, for the duration of the dance, will be a free Z&A build; custom-made for the event (and related to the theme of the event).

Rumour has it Antony might even venture out of the workshop and attend (he's been working on his costume since last week -- can you tell he quite likes a bit of science fiction?).

Z&A Police Box Cell

Time is generally not a factor when we create new products. Although it's true that we do take part in hunts and, so, build to a deadline, we mostly don't rush a product from the workshop to the shop. Recently though Antony was having a chat with Miss Eve of Evelock about what would make for quintessentially British builds, especially RLV builds, and suddenly he had an idea. During that evening he started throwing prims around (having also found the perfect set of textures) and soon the product was made. It did take a couple of rebuilds, as he kept fussing over the dimensions, but it was soon done. So, Z&A are excited to announce a new Z&A cell (which, due to Antony's constant nagging of Zardia, has had a quick release -- he might be a little too excited about it):

We think it's the perfect cell to hold your victim on any street corner.

As always, you'll find this new product in our main store or on the marketplace. Although, because the door is understandably narrow, we highly recommend you pop into the store first and have a play with the sample that's out on display.

Avatar Radar v1.1

Just a day after making the avatar radar available we've released an updated version. While there is no major change Antony has been tinkering. v1.1 tweaks the way that avatar information is shown on the radar -- letting you turn on and off some information -- and it also adds script information about avatars (number of scripts, memory impact, time impact).

We've also decided to make the radar mod from now on. This means that you can change the textures, resize it (up to a point) and even unlink the "leg" and wall-mount it (yes, it does handle being rotated like that).

v1.1 is available right now in our main store.

Avatar Radar

Ever since llGetAgentList() turned up on Z&A's home sim (we're currently an RC sim) Antony's been itching to have a proper play with the function. Since last week it appears that the function is now available on all sims and, this last weekend, Antony finally cracked and built something.

With a sprinkle of RLV on top, of course.

We're happy to make available, for free, the Z&A Avatar Radar:

The radar creates a 3d map of avatars in your region, showing them above an actual map of the region. Each avatar's "bug" shows information about them (name, location, range from the radar, if they're walking, sat, away, in mouselook, etc...) and also, where possible, indicates if they have a working RLV relay or not (avatars with a responding relay are shown in red, those without shown in green).

If you'd like a copy just pop down to our main store where you'll find it with some of our other free builds.
